The Princess Tiana doll is from the Disney film to be released just before Christmas. General release is on Christmas Day. The movie is "The Princess and The Frog". Tiana is the Frog Princess that kisses a frog prince and instead of the frog turning into a handsome prince Tiana herself turns into a frog! A bit of a twist on the traditional fairy tale.

What is so special about this is that this is the first black doll in the Disney Princess series. Princess Tiana is creating a real buzz and is set to be popular with African American as well as white little girls.
